Sage Training

As with bookkeeping we can begin our Sage training at any stage of the full program, dependant on the amount of prior knowledge and the depth to which you wish to utilise Sage.

Sage Line 50 is a comprehensive program and in some basic book keeping systems some of the modules are never used, such as stock control, purchase and sales order processing. Therefore, at this point there is little requirement for training on these modules.


Modular Training

Being modular in form, it may be the case that you wish certain employees to complete certain elements of the book keeping system, e.g. Customer invoices or Purchase invoices etc.

We can provide this service, although we recommend that everyone involved has a basic understanding of other primary modules, namely, Customer, Supplier, Nominal and Bank modules, even if only to understand how other employee's work interacts with their own.

Training Modules


We also provide training on Sage Payroll, either from scratch with a trainee having no prior knowledge of payroll. This will involve the production of payroll based on a manual system followed by training on Sage Payroll itself. Or, if you have been running a manual payroll then you will certainly appreciate the time saved in training just on Sage Payroll.

Sage payroll from initial setting up is very automated and will save you many hours of time, but having an understanding of payroll from a manual point of view will aid you greatly in assessing whether a payroll is correct or not. E.G. a person being paid far too much due to a wrong tax code or possibly their P45 details had not been entered.
