Lawson & Co are a firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Skutterskelfe near Stokesley, just south of Middlesbrough. We specialise in small to medium sized businesses, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
We pride ourselves on building a close relationship with all our clients, keeping in contact with and initiating new ideas for the benefit of the clients. Our policy is to adapt our workload to fit in with the client's needs, such as ensuring timely production of management accounts.
We have a broad range of clients spread throughout the North East - including the Haulage, Waste Recycling and Construction Industry. We also provide services for professionals such as Doctors, so you can be sure that we have the skills and experience to help you develop your business.
Our History
Founded in 1991 by Ian Lawson following seven years as a Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse. He joined Price Waterhouse shortly after gaining his Economics degree.
Lawson & Co. was initially based in Yarm Road, Stockton and moved to Stokesley in 2001, and then to Skutterskelfe in 2016. The firm concentrates on a personal service for clients where fees are agreed up front and there are no hidden extras.
Ian Lawson is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with 35 years post qualification experience. He has been involved in businesses as a Finance Director and can bring all that experience to bear for the benefit of the client.
